Exclusives: No remakes for Kartik Aaryan’s Aashiqui 3; Mukesh Bhatt will spend a year composing original music for the film.

The makers of Kartik Aaryan’s Aashiqui 3 will introduce a new face opposite the actor in the franchise’s third installment. Mukesh Bhatt, who is producing the film alongside Bhushan Kumar, has stated that he is still looking for the leading lady and has started an extensive casting process. Meanwhile, the producer has now opened exclusively on the music of this Anurag Basu directorial. Bhatt confirms that he will not be recreating any popular songs from Parts 1 and 2 for Aashiqui 3.

“I do not believe in reproductions, only originals. Aashiqui 1 and Aashiqui 2 both featured original music. I am capable of composing original music. I must devote one year to the music so that the songs are on par with parts one and two. This is a herculean task that I must complete,” Mukesh Bhatt explains.

Aashiqui 3 was announced officially in September 2022. Sharing a video announcement on Twitter, Kartik proclaimed, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum. Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum. #Aashiqui3. This one will break your heart! My First Experience with Basu Da.” Aashiqui 1’s soundtrack included popular songs such as “Nazar Ke Saamne” and “Dheere Dheere,” while Aashiqui 2’s soundtrack included “Tum Hi Ho,” “Sunn Raha Hai,” and “Chahun Main Ya Naa.”

Kartik Aaryan has an exciting slate of upcoming films, including Shehzada with Kriti Sanon, Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, and Captain India with Hansal Mehta.
